This program has three main objectives: (1) Build the Department of Agricultural Research Services (DARS) institutional capacity to review/develop its strategic and operational plans for an effective and efficient national agricultural research system. (2) Build DARS capacity to make it more efficient and effective in research formulation and planning mirroring ASWAp. (3) Build ‘Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBM&E)’ system capacity able to track performance of ASWAp related achievements.
